Sippy is currently an independent board director and a business advisor who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her 30 plus years of professional service experience. Sippy currently serves on the Boards of Ovintiv Inc. and Trans Mountain Corporation. Previous to starting her Director journey, Sippy was a Partner at Deloitte Canada LLP (“Deloitte” or "the Firm"). Her roles at Deloitte included her being a Director on Deloitte’s Board and a Vice Chair for the Firm. Sippy is known for growth-focused leadership, her strength as a strategic advisor, her ability to lead transformative change, to simplify complex issues, which coupled with her stakeholder-centric approach, has been key to her advising and guiding organizations on how to successfully navigate constantly evolving market, regulatory and stakeholder expectations.  In 2023 Sippy was awarded recognized as one of Calgary’s Influential Women in Business (CIWB) and in 2024 she was awarded Fellow designation from CPA Alberta, 2024, a recognition of her achievements and contributions in her career as well as in the community as a member of the CPA profession.  Sippy’s passion is women in business, she is very involved in Board Ready Women.  She strongly believes in the power of mentorship and promotes the importance of sisterhood amongst professional women.  She is married, 40 years this year, and is the proud mum of 2 adult children.  During her down time Sippy  loves to cook, entertain, garden, travel, and enjoy the arts.
