SUMMARY:Power Stage: Dr. Natasha Iyer - The New Rules for Human Performance
DESCRIPTION:Longevity science hacks to feel\, think and perform better in the next decade and beyond. \nFor generations\, success came with a trade-off: build the career\, grow the business\, accumulate the wealth\, and accept that declining energy\, increasing weight\, poor sleep\, and reduced vitality were simply part of the package… and getting older. \nToday\, science is challenging that assumption.\nAGING IS OPTIONAL. \nAdvances in longevity medicine\, human performance\, metabolic health\, and age optimization are changing what is possible in the second half of life. Many of today’s highest performers are no longer accepting that the price of high performance and perseverance\, and age-related decline as inevitable.\nInstead\, they are using evidence-based strategies to maintain energy\, sharpen cognitive performance\, protect their health\, and extend both lifespan and healthspan. \nIn this engaging presentation\, you’ll discover why the rules of healthy aging have changed\, what modern science reveals about maintaining peak performance as we age\, and how to position yourself to thrive personally and professionally for decades to come. \nThe future belongs to those who invest not only in their business\, but in their biology that powers it.

SUMMARY:Workshop: Carrie Tuttle - What Are You Actually Selling? Turning what you do into value that buyers pay for!
DESCRIPTION:Most of us describe our work by what we deliver. Buyers decide based on what changes for them. That gap is where capable businesses lose work they should have won.\nIn this workshop\, we’ll look at how to find your value in your client’s words rather than your own\, and how to build a value sentence you can say out loud without over-explaining: who it’s for\, what changes\, and what that change is worth. We’ll also cover what to do when the price question arrives before you’re ready for it.\nYou’ll leave with a draft of your own\, and one question to ask 3 past clients this month. \nBring your own lunch\, or pre-order from the Bungalow Club!\nCarrie Tuttle is the founder of Team Mojo\, a revenue leadership coaching firm in Calgary. With more than 25 years in B2B sales and marketing\, she helps founders and new leaders build teams that can sell without the founder in every conversation. Her approach combines systems and accountability with respect for the humans in the business. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation. She hosts the podcast Suits & Sneakers: Leadership Unfiltered.

SUMMARY:Workshop: Renae Barlow - Second Curve Leadership; Women Navigating Professional Transition
DESCRIPTION:Every woman reaches a point where the identity that built her career no longer matches where she is heading next. This is the second curve: the shift that occurs when experience and capability have outgrown the role\, title\, or definition a woman has been operating from\, whether by choice or by circumstance.\nThis two-hour workshop gives women a framework for recognizing where they are in that shift\, understanding why the middle of it often feels chaotic and undefined\, and making clear decisions about what to keep\, what to release\, and when. The harder question is not whether to change\, but how to know when the moment has arrived: when you have learned what a role had to teach you\, and what signals that it is time to move on.\nParticipants will leave with a practical tool for that decision\, along with language for a stage of transition that is rarely named and often navigated alone. This is not a session about starting over. It is about recognizing what remains once the titles are set aside and building the next chapter with clarity. \nRenae Barlow is the founder of Summit Stream\, a principal-led advisory practice for senior leaders and organizations navigating complex transitions in leadership\, innovation\, and emerging technology adoption.\nHer recognition includes Woman of Distinction and a nomination to Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100. Her work on second-curve leadership draws on the combination of lived transition and applied practice: the point at which experience and capability outgrow the identity a career was built around\, and the discipline required to recognize when it is time to move.

But when\nlife throws challenges your way\, why does it feel so impossible to live by those words?\nIt’s because you need to build these habits now\, before things get hard.\nMost resilience strategies focus on “bouncing back” or getting through to the other side.\nClaire’s approach is different. It’s about learning how to move through challenges while\nyou’re still in them—with clarity\, intention\, and control.\nIn this powerful and uplifting keynote\, Claire shares her deeply personal journey\nthrough her daughter’s stage 4 cancer diagnosis\, alongside her lifelong experience with\nanxiety. Through this lived and deeply relatable perspective\, she offers practical\nstrategies for navigating not only life’s biggest challenges\, but also the everyday\npressures we all face. \nClaire highlights three key areas within your control—your thoughts\, your community\,\nand your actions—and shows how focusing your energy on the right things allows you\nto not only survive adversity\, but find strength and meaning within it.

SUMMARY:It Can Happen to Anyone - Domestic Violence and Coercive Control: Recognizing the Early Warning Signs
DESCRIPTION:It Can Happen to Anyone \nDomestic Violence and Coercive Control: Recognizing the Early Warning Signs \nWhat if those first red flags are easy to miss? \nDomestic Violence rarely starts with physical acts. Often\, it begins with behaviours that can feel like love\, concern\, or protection. What feels romantic at first can gradually become something quite different. \nBehaviour patterns used to gain power in the relationship\, like monitoring where you are\, managing finances “for your benefit”\, or becoming upset when you spend time with friends or family—these are called Coercive Control. And it can be as destructive as physical violence. \nNovember is Alberta Family Violence Prevention Month. Across the province\, communities are coming together to increase awareness\, encourage conversations\, and help prevent abuse before it escalates. \nPlease join us for an evening exploring:\n• Why abuse can happen in any relationship and why it is often unrecognized\n• The early warning signs of coercive control and abuse\n• How to support someone you are worried about and start a safe conversation\n• Local resources and where to turn for help \nNo prior knowledge is needed\, just an open mind and a willingness to learn. You will leave with the knowledge and confidence to recognize warning signs earlier\, support someone you care about\, or better understand experiences that often remain hidden. \nBecause domestic violence and coercive control can happen to anyone. \nPanelists:\nDenise Summers Survivor advocate with lived experience.\nKaren Gosbee Community advocate with lived experience related to mental health\, addiction\, and Domestic Violence.\nLeslie Hill Executive Director\, Discovery House \nModerator\nAlison Pidskalny\nStrategic advisor\, board director\, philanthropist\, and community leader.

SUMMARY:Creating a Beautiful Life - Your Presence. Your Mind. Your Home.
DESCRIPTION:What would make your life feel more beautiful to YOU? \nYou don’t need another evening telling you to do more. \nWhat if creating a beautiful life is actually about becoming more intentional about what you think\, keep\, and wear? \nJoin us for Creating a Beautiful Life\, an intimate and inspiring evening created for women who are ready to look at their lives a little differently. \nOver two powerful hours\, three women will invite you to explore three different—but deeply connected—parts of your life: \nYour Presence. Your Mind. Your Home. \nConsider whether the way you show up on the outside reflects the woman you’ve become on the inside. \nExplore the hidden brain patterns shaping your future in the areas of your relationships\, confidence\, health\, and success. \nDiscover how what fills your home may also be stealing your peace. \nThis isn’t about creating a perfect life. \nIt’s about becoming more intentional about the life you’re already creating. \nYou’ll laugh. You’ll think. You may recognize parts of yourself you haven’t looked at in a long time. Most importantly\, you’ll leave with practical ideas you can begin using right away. \nExpect more: \nConfidence. Clarity. Calm. \nOne evening. Three parts of your life. One powerful question: \nWhat would make your life feel more beautiful to YOU? \nMeet Your Speakers \n👗 Leslie Woods — Your Presence \nStyle that speaks. Be the YOU you’re becoming. \nWhat happens when the woman you see in the mirror no longer quite reflects the woman you’ve become? Discover how style can be more than simply what you wear — it can be a powerful tool for reconnecting with yourself\, rebuilding confidence\, and expressing who you are now and who you’re becoming. \nThe way we present ourselves can be so much more than clothing. \nLeslie will invite you to consider whether the way you show up on the outside reflects the woman you’ve become—or the woman you’re becoming. \nExplore how greater intention around your personal presence can help you show up with more confidence and authenticity. \n🧠 Cicilia Hartley — Your Mind \nWhat If You Don’t Need Another Strategy? \nYou are smart and successful\, and you have one area of life that you still feel stuck in. You’ve read the books. Set the goals. Tried the plans. You know what you should be doing—so why can lasting change still feel so difficult? \nCicilia Hartley explores the hidden patterns operating beneath the surface and how they can quietly shape your health\, relationships\, confidence and success. \nUsing the proven principles of neuroplasticity\, brain science and behaviour change\, Cicilia will show you why lasting change isn’t always about trying harder or finding a better strategy. Sometimes\, it’s about changing the patterns your brain has already learned. \nTogether\, you’ll begin to: \nUncover the hidden patterns keeping you stuck.\nUnlock new thoughts and behaviours that support the life you want.\nShift those new patterns until they begin to become more automatic. \nYou’ll leave considering one powerful question:\nWhat if the next version of you doesn’t need more discipline\, more willpower or another strategy—just a different pattern? \n🏠 Cindi Banman — Your Home \nClear the clutter. Create the calm. Discover the joy! \nOur surroundings affect us in ways we don’t always notice. \nCindi calls our attention to the relationship between our physical spaces and how we feel\, helping you consider whether what fills your home is supporting your life—or quietly stealing some of your peace. \nYou’ll walk away thinking differently about what you keep\, what you release\, and the environment you want to create around yourself. \nWhat You’ll Experience \nDuring this two-hour experience\, you’ll explore the patterns shaping your future\, discover how your environment may be influencing your sense of calm\, and consider whether your outward presence reflects the woman you’re becoming. \nAnd with a new year just around the corner\, you’ll gather fresh ideas you can take into 2027—small\, intentional shifts that could change how you think\, show up\, and live in the year ahead. \nThis is an evening designed for inspiration\, insight\, practical ideas\, and connection—not another long list of things you “should” be doing. \nCome as you are. \nLeave with a little more clarity about what you want to create next—and a few powerful ideas to help make 2027 your best year yet. SUMMARY:Workshop: Renae Barlow - Understanding Quantum; A Session on Quantum\, High-performance Computing\, and AI in Problem Solving
DESCRIPTION:Quantum computing is moving from research curiosity to applied capability\, and the pressure to understand it is reaching people who are not\, and do not need to be\, technical specialists. This session builds that understanding directly\, in clear and everyday language. In about one hour\, it explains how quantum computers actually work\, from the qubit up\, and then turns to what matters most for organizations: what happens when quantum\, high-performance computing\, and AI are combined to solve real problems.\nThat combination is the heart of the session. On its own\, a quantum computer is a specialized instrument. Working alongside high-performance computing and AI\, it becomes far more useful\, because quantum extends how many variables and competing constraints a system can hold at once. That is where classical computing reaches its limits\, and it is why optimization problems long considered out of reach are beginning to find real answers. The session also covers how these machines are built and cooled\, the energy demand behind them\, and what quantum means for data security and post-quantum cryptography.\nThe session is designed for senior leaders\, founders\, ecosystem builders\, and professionals who want a grounded understanding of these technologies without a technical background. No preparation is required. Participants leave with a plain-language glossary\, a short set of questions for their own organizations\, and pointers to women-in-quantum communities. \nRenae Barlow is the founder of Summit Stream\, a principal-led advisory practice for senior leaders and organizations navigating innovation and emerging technology adoption. She works at the intersection of leadership and advanced computing\, translating quantum\, artificial intelligence\, and high-performance computing into language and decisions that non-technical leaders can act on.\nHer perspective is grounded in direct experience. As Vice President of Global Ecosystems at SuperQ Quantum\, she led international ecosystem development for a quantum computing company. Over more than twenty years\, she has led innovation and economic development across Canada\, including as Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Economic Development Lethbridge\, building innovation infrastructure and access to advanced computing.\nShe has also designed first-of-their-kind programs that broaden participation in technology\, including Women Entrepreneurs in STEM and Rural Women in Technology. Her recognition includes Woman of Distinction and a nomination to Canada’s Most Powerful Women Top 100. She brings both fluency in the technology and the ability to make it clear for the people in the room.
